I have had the privilege to work on BIG W Winter Heat range for 2025 from the product design, packaging design, production and many more details.
For the box designs, I first came up with the idea of having the heat pack being to scale on the packaging for consumers to know exactly what they are purchasing. Figuring out the solution to this design problem.
Yes, there is a window on the box to show the fabric, but what about items that you are not able to see the entire design? Here is how I tackled this design!
One day in the office I decided to place a heat pack on top of the box and suprisingly as simple as that this design popped into my mind.
After a few renderings, quality checks from retails and finalising - here we are!
This design flowed into the polybags, swing tickets, shelf-ready trays that you can see is all cohesive and pleasing to the eye - while maintaining visibility.
